Ingredients

  • ⅔ cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • ½ cups Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions

  • Grab a clean mason jar with a tight-fitting lid. This will be your mixing and storage container.
  • Add all the ingredients into the jar, ensuring nothing is left out.
  • Seal the jar tightly and give it a good shake until the oil and vinegar blend seamlessly.
  • Place the sealed jar in the fridge for storage. This dressing can be kept for up to three months.
  • Before serving, allow it to come to room temperature for the best flavor release. Always shake well before using.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for a brighter flavor and consider roasting garlic cloves for a milder taste.
  • This dressing also works as a marinade for chicken or seafood.
